Posted almost 10 years ago by Mia Painter
TNP will host NP Week Capitol Day this coming Monday, November 9, 2015. HCNPA would like to encourage our members to attend. Membership to TNP is not required. Please see the information provided by TNP below.
To celebrate NP Week, area we are arranging for Nurse Practitioners to raise awareness about the role of NPs in the Texas legislature. Participants will gather for a group photo on the South Steps of the Texas Capitol building and later distribute NP Week awareness ribbons and information packets to state legislators. Please wear you white lab coats, and bring a friend or two to join in the day's activities!
* Please note: TNP will not be arranging for transportation to this event, offering training, or scheduling individual meetings with constituents. This is simply an awareness day during which TNP Members can make drop-by visits to legislative offices and distribute materials to legislators.
