Food Drive and Fundraiser

This is the time of year we usually have our HCNPA Summer Social and Fundraiser. However, given the circumstances and based on membership feedback, we will postpone our Summer Social event until a later date but would like to proceed with our annual fundraiser. Our goal is to give back to our communities where needed and, this year, we feel helping to feed our communities is essential. There are still many families struggling due to COVID 19 and a donation of $1 can provide 4-7 meals. 

HCNPA will be donating $500 each to Central Texas Food Bank and San Antonio Area Food Bank, equivalent to over 5500 meals. Below you will find links to make financial donations to both area food banks if you choose to do so also.  In addition, we would like to issue a fun challenge to our members and followers.  Between now and November 15th HCNPA will be sponsoring a food drive!  We are asking our members and followers to donate non-perishable food items to YOUR local food bank and tag HCNPA on Facebook with a selfie of you making your donation including your area food bank name and the amount (rounded to the nearest pound) of items donated.  Every 20 POUNDS of food items donated will give you one entry to win a $200 VISA gift card!  Please have fun with this challenge and feel free to make it a competition with friends, coworkers and fellow members. 

Our goal is to encourage our members to contribute locally as well.  Let’s show our communities Nurse Practitioners support them just as they support us!
