Elections for 2019!!!!! Be a part of your organization!!!!

Elections will start next month, it is imperative that we fill some spots so that we can keep in business. Our association depends on YOU! Committment is minimal and only requires 1 year (in most cases)

Please email stacey.mitchum@yahoo.com for your interest in a spot. We have had some volunteers but still need to fill the VP spot and a few other committees.

2019 Positions up for Election

Vice‐president (need volunteer)

•  Plans, schedules and facilitates educational events, including recruitment of appropriate sponsors for dinner programs

•  Assumes the role of president in both the temporary and the permanent absence of the president

•  Serves as president‐elect, to assume the role of president after completing term as president

•  Assists the president in delegated duties
•  Chair nomination committee

Recording secretary (need volunteer)

•  Records, distributes and maintains minutes of each meeting
•  Arranges for alternate recording secretary as needed
•  Assists social media strategist as needed
•  Assists with election process
•  Assists the president as needed

Social Media Strategist (need volunteer)

•  Monitors and updates website, and notifies members as needed
•  Disseminates written correspondence
•  Serves as alternate for recording secretary
•  Assists recording secretary as needed
•  Assists the president as needed

Social Committee (need volunteer)

•  Charge: Plan, organize and run social events, to include one or more charity fundraisers.
•  Eligible: Full, associate and student members
