Hill Country Nurse Practitioners Association

APRN Satisfaction survey - Doctoral Project

Posted almost 8 years ago by Dawn Peterson

  • As was announced at last meeting, the membership of Hill Country Nurse Practitioners Association have been invited to participate in a research project regarding APRN satisfaction and intent to leave.  This is your opportunity to assist another Advanced Practice Nurse in her pursuit of doctoral degree.  Below is her introductory letter.

Dear Madam or Sir,

We are seeking advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) in Texas to participate in a research study examining work attitudes and preferences, job satisfaction, and intent to leave practice.

All APRNs who are currently providing direct patient care in Texas are eligible for participation. This research project is expected to generate insight into relationships between job satisfaction and an APRN’s intent to leave practice.

If you are interested, you will be asked to complete a short survey that should take you no more than 20 minutes to complete. All participants will remain anonymous and all information collected will be kept completely confidential.

The information participants provide may be helpful in developing new strategies to improve APRN job satisfaction and retention.
