Run for Office!

We will be soon electing our new officers for 2018. If you are interested in running or know of someone you think would be a good fit for a particular position please let us know! Below are the positions open for re-election and a brief summary of the role:
Vice-President: Plans, schedules and facilitates educational events, including recruitment of appropriate sponsors for dinner programs; Assumes the role of president in both the temporary and the permanent absence of the president; Serves as president-elect, to assume the role of president after completing term as vice-president; Assists the president in delegated duties; Chair nomination committee
Treasurer: Manages the organization’s fiscal activities, including record keeping and reporting; Researches and proposes to the steering committee a place for deposit of the funds of the organization; Collects member dues; Maintains a current directory of paid members; Prepares and presents an operational budget; Provides regular financial updates
Recording Secretary: Records, distributes and maintains minutes of each meeting; Arranges for alternate recording secretary as needed; Assists social media strategist as needed.
Social Media Strategiest: Monitors and updates website, and notifies members as needed; Disseminates written correspondence; Serves as alternate for recording secretary; Assists recording secretary as needed; Assists the president as needed
By-Laws Committee: Review the association by-laws and recommend changes to the Steering Committee for vote by the general membership.
CME Task Force: Explore, develop, prepare and offer approved continuing education activities for association members, according to the guidelines of AANP.
Legislative Committee: Track TNP and AANP legislative initiatives, provide information, education and updates to members. Plan and participate in opportunities to educate legislators.
Membership Committee: Recruit and retain members, welcome new members and guests attending meetings.
Social Committee: Plan, organize and run social events, to include one or more charity fundraisers.
